Cornwall Community Darkroom is a Chemical-Free photography darkroom with a focus on community and sustainability. We offer workshops, residencies, research, exhibitions, events, professional development opportunities and a space to connect with and support others. We teach traditional photography skills using sustainable darkroom processes that explore the power of plants and the magic of nature.
Situated in the rural Cornish countryside at Bosulval Studios in Newmill nr Penzance, Cornwall. We’re surrounded by space and wilderness to inspire. We work alongside a community of other local artists and makers - printmakers, potters and painters - bringing together a passionate, supportive and inspired community of creative people in Cornwall.
Our community space is accessible and formed by people of all levels, ages and backgrounds to encourage openess, sharing and learning. All ages, stages and abilities are welcome.
